Beef Biryani Recipe
Beef Biryani is a traditional Pakistani dish made with tender beef,
fragrant basmati rice, aromatic spices, and fresh herbs.
It is one of the most popular dishes and is perfect for family dinners,
special occasions, and celebrations.
Delicious Homemade Beef Biryani
🥘 Ingredients

- ¾ Cup Oil
- 2 Large Onions (Sliced)
- ½ kg Beef
- 2½ tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 2 Large Tomatoes
- 1½ Cups Water
- 1 tbsp Red Chili Powder
- ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- ¼ tsp Mace Powder
- ¼ tsp Nutmeg Powder
- 1 tbsp Kashmiri Red Chili Powder
- 1½ tbsp Salt
- ½ tsp Black Pepper Corns
- 1 Star Anise
- 1 Black Cardamom
- 4–5 Green Cardamoms
- 4–5 Cloves
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks
- 1 Bay Leaf
- ½ Cup Yogurt
- 3 tbsp Lemon Juice
- ½ Bunch Fresh Coriander
- ½ kg Basmati Rice
- Lemon Slices
- Tomato Slices
- Kewra Water
- Yellow Food Color
👨🍳 Directions
- Heat the oil and fry the sliced onions until golden brown.
- Remove half of the fried onions and keep them aside.
- Add the beef and cook until its color changes.
- Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and water.
- Bring to a boil and cook until the beef becomes tender (about 1 hour).
- Add all the spices and salt.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes.
- Add yogurt.
- Add lemon juice and fresh coriander.
- Cook until the oil separates.
- Layer the cooked rice and beef masala.
- Add lemon slices, tomato slices, and fresh coriander.
- Mix kewra water with yellow food color and drizzle over the biryani.
- Cover and steam (dum) for 8–10 minutes.
- Garnish with fried onions and serve with raita.
